1. Variable frequency drive (VFD) for the fan. The fan speed is controlled by installing a VFD, thus adjusting the hot air flow rate. This method is flexible and can be adjusted according to actual needs, and is currently a commonly used approach.
2. Damper adjustment. Adjustable dampers are installed on the hot air duct. The flow area of the hot air is changed by adjusting the damper opening, thereby controlling the hot air flow rate. This method is simple and practical, but not as accurate as VFD.

3. Burner adjustment. If the hot air is generated by a burner, the hot air flow rate can be indirectly controlled by adjusting the burner's fuel supply. This method is suitable when the burner is the heat source.
4. Hot air duct design. When designing the hot air duct, the flow resistance of the hot air can be affected by adjusting the duct diameter and length, thus changing the hot air flow rate. This method is suitable for the design phase of new equipment.
5. Hot air distributor. In a multi-point air intake quartz sand dryer, a hot air distributor can be used to adjust the hot air flow rate in different areas to ensure uniform drying of the material.
