1. Insufficient heat source temperature. Inadequate heat source temperature leads to low drying efficiency, preventing the moisture in the material from fully evaporating.

2. Insufficient heat source flow rate. An inadequate supply of the heat source results in insufficient heat to meet drying requirements.

3. Excessive feed moisture. The initial moisture content of the material entering the quartz sand dryer is too high, exceeding the dryer's design capacity.

4. Excessive feed rate. The feed rate exceeds the dryer's processing capacity, resulting in insufficient residence time for the material within the drum and preventing thorough drying.

5. Improper drum rotation speed. If the rotation speed is too fast or too slow, it affects the material's residence time in the drum and the uniformity of heat exposure.

6. Low heat exchange efficiency. Inefficient heat exchange within the heat exchanger or the drum leads to inadequate heat transfer.

7. Poor dryer sealing. If the quartz sand dryer is not well-sealed, heat loss occurs, reducing drying efficiency.

8. Non-uniform material particle size. Inconsistent particle sizes make larger particles difficult to dry, causing the overall discharge moisture content to fail to meet standards.

9. Insufficient drying time. The material's residence time inside the quartz sand dryer is inadequate, preventing it from drying thoroughly.
