Three cylinder drying machine is also called Triple-pass Rotary Drum Dryer. It is a kind of drying equipment to dry material with humidity or granularity in the industries of mineral dressing, building material.
1. Due to the three-tube structure, the inner tube and the middle tube are surrounded by the outer tube to form a self-insulation structure, the total heat dissipation area of the cylinder is greatly reduced. Also, the degree of dispersion of the material in the cylinder is greatly improved, and the heat is fully utilized. The temperature of exhaust gas and dry material is reduced, thereby improving thermal efficiency, reducing energy consumption and increasing output.
2. Due to the adoption of the three-cylinder structure, the length of the cylinder is greatly shortened, thereby reducing the occupied area and the investment cost of civil engineering.
3. The transmission system is simplified. Supporting wheels are used for transmission instead of large and small gears. Thereby reducing the cost, improving transmission efficiency and reducing noise.
4. The fuel can be adapted to coal, oil and gas. It can dry lumps, pellets and powder materials below 20mm.

Self insulation efficiency of cylinder is as high as above 80%, which greatly improves thermal efficiency to 45%. (thermal efficiency of traditional monocular dryer is just 35%).
It's without rack wheel transmission,but uses riding wheel drive, which is of smooth operation,high running rate,less maintenance,low cost,etc.
Materials enter the inner side of the drum through the feeding device to realize current flow drying process,then the materials enter the middle layer of the inner wall through the other end to realize counter current drying process.They are lifted in over and over in the middle layer which advance in two-steps forward and one-step back way.The three-drum dryers absorb heat from both inner drum and middle drum,which extend the drying time and realize the best drying condition.Finally,materials fall into the external layer of the drum from the other end of the middle layer, processing in a rectangle multi-loop way.The dried materials move quickly out of the drum under the hot air,while the wet ones remain because of their own weight.Materials are dried completely inside the rectangle shoveling plate and then cooled by the single drum cooler, thus finishing the whole drying process.
