The corroded dryer is not only ugly, but also seriously affects the life and service life of the machine in the long run. Appropriate protection and rust prevention work for the sludge dryer should be done. Austenitic nickel-chromium stainless steel is used for welding at the welding point. There are many parts of the sludge dryer that must be welded, and the materials used for old-fashioned welding often break and corrode. The impact on the life of the sludge dryer is very serious. The difference between austenitic nickel-chromium stainless steel and ordinary carbon steel is that it has poor thermal conductivity, a large expansion coefficient when heated, and a high resistance value.

1. Passivation and phosphating method.

In the manufacturing and production of sludge dryers, many parts are made of carbon steel. If the working time is long, it is easy to cause a lot of rust on its surface, and a lot of manual rust removal work is often required. The passivation and phosphating methods are mainly through electrical and electrochemical reactions. Through a one-time treatment, the surface of the rusty steel workpiece can be made to show the original color of the metal, and a dense anti-rust film layer is generated on the metal surface. After using this method, even if we put the equipment in a humid environment, it will not cause rust. Moreover, this method is very simple, which can save a lot of manpower and material resources and reduce investment. It is the most widely used anti-rust method.

2. Electrostatic powder spraying method.

Electrostatic powder spraying method is a method of applying a new type of powder coating to the cylinder of the sludge dryer. Usually, cold-rolled stainless steel is used. The cost of this steel is very high, and it cannot have superior corrosion resistance when replaced with ordinary carbon steel. The powder coating used in the electrostatic powder spraying method has a corrosion resistance that is completely comparable to that of stainless steel, and ordinary carbon steel is used instead of stainless steel. Moreover, this type of powder coating has the characteristics of toughness, durability, good decorativeness, outdoor weather resistance and heat resistance, corrosion resistance and powdering resistance, gloss and color performance, which can completely replace the sludge dryer made of stainless steel, greatly reducing costs.
