Sand dryer is mainly used for drying granular materials such as sand, river sand, and quartz sand. The equipment transfers heat energy to make wet sand contact with hot air flow, evaporate water and dry. It is characterized by large processing capacity, simple operation, strong adaptability, energy saving and environmental protection, and is widely used in construction, building materials, chemical industry and other industries.

What is the reason for sand agglomeration during the drying process of the sand dryer?

1. Uneven distribution of hot air. The uneven distribution of hot air inside the sand dryer causes the temperature in some areas to be too high, causing the sand to be locally dehydrated and hardened quickly, forming agglomerates.

2. The humidity and particle size of the feed are too large. Sand with too high humidity or uneven particle size enters the sand dryer, and the wet sand sticks to each other, which is more likely to agglomerate at high temperatures.

3. Insufficient air volume. Insufficient air volume causes the hot and humid air to be unable to be discharged in time, and moisture accumulates in the drying cylinder, promoting the adhesion between the sand.

4. The drying temperature is too high. Too high a drying temperature will cause the sand surface to dry and harden quickly, and the internal moisture will be difficult to evaporate further, resulting in a difference in moisture inside and outside, which is easy to form a hard shell.

5. Equipment design defects. If the drum tilt angle is unreasonable, the internal structure design is not conducive to material flow, etc., it may cause material accumulation and agglomeration.
