Since various industries have very strict requirements on the quality of sand, the entire sand and gravel production line cannot be ignored, and the entire production line is more stringent on the sand dryer. Sand dryers often have uneven drying during the production process, so what are the reasons for incomplete drying?
There are two reasons for incomplete drying of materials: one is related to the dryness and wetness of the materials, and the second is related to the choice of heat source. If the high-humidity materials are not dried sufficiently, the dried materials will be slightly moist, and the choice of heat source is also very critical.
So what are the heat sources available? As sand drying equipment, there are many supporting heat source equipment, which are usually classified according to the fuel consumed, including coal, fuel oil, gas, electricity, etc., and can be divided into direct heating of drying media and indirect heating according to the heat exchange situation. For example, the boiler heats water to form water vapor, and the water vapor then heats the drying medium through the radiator.
This is two indirect heating. The total thermal efficiency of this method is very low, only about 40%. In some factories, there are many hot spots in production. In order to facilitate centralized heating and management, it is used more. Coal-fired hot air furnaces include indirect heating and direct use of flue gas as drying medium (direct fire furnace). Indirect heating produces clean hot air with a thermal efficiency of 60-70%. Direct heating affects product quality due to dust pollution, but it fully utilizes heat energy and has a high thermal efficiency. It can be used first when there is no effect on the mixing of a small amount of dust into the material during drying.
