Slag dryers are suitable for industries such as ore dressing and construction. They can handle high-viscosity slag and reduce the cost of subsequent processing. The heat source can be selected from coal, oil, gas and other forms to meet different production and environmental protection requirements.

1. Equipment structure design. The slag dryer is equipped with special lifting plates, breaking chains and other structures. These devices can continuously lift and scatter the coal sludge when the dryer is running, so that the coal sludge forms a uniform material curtain in the cylinder, increase the contact area between the slag and the hot air, and improve the drying efficiency. At the same time, this continuous turning and lifting action can also effectively prevent the high-viscosity slag from sticking into blocks in the cylinder, ensuring the smooth progress of the drying process.

2. Drying method. Most slag dryers adopt a downstream drying method, that is, the flue gas and wet slag enter the dryer from the same side. The high-temperature flue gas can quickly contact the high-viscosity slag, so that the moisture on the surface of the slag evaporates quickly, forming a lower surface humidity, reducing the viscosity of the slag, which is beneficial to the subsequent drying process. And this drying method can use high-temperature flue gas to obtain a higher evaporation intensity and improve drying efficiency.

3. Adjustable operating parameters. The slag dryer can flexibly adjust operating parameters such as speed, temperature, feed speed, etc. according to different material properties, including slag viscosity, moisture content, particle size, etc. For high-viscosity slag, the feed speed can be appropriately reduced, the drying temperature can be increased, and the drying time can be extended to ensure that the slag can be fully dried, while avoiding problems such as blockage or adhesion caused by excessive viscosity of the material.
