Sand dryer is a device used to heat and dehydrate water-containing sand. It is widely used in construction, casting and other industries. It heats the air through a heat source, causing the sand to contact the hot air in the drum or fluidized bed, accelerating the evaporation of water, and achieving the purpose of drying. The sand dryer is easy to operate and highly efficient. It can significantly improve the drying speed and quality of sand while reducing energy consumption.

1. Heat source selection. The type of heat source (such as natural gas, oil, electricity, biomass fuel, or waste heat utilization) affects the design and efficiency of the heat exchanger.

2. Thermal efficiency. The design must ensure maximum heat energy transfer efficiency and reduce heat loss, which may involve the material selection, shape, size and internal structure of the heat exchanger.

3. Heat transfer area. The heat transfer area of the sand dryer heat exchanger directly affects the heat exchange efficiency, and usually requires a large enough area to ensure that heat can be fully transferred to the sand.

4. Air flow and material flow direction. The flow direction of hot air and sand (counter-flow, co-flow or cross-flow) affects drying efficiency, and counter-flow designs usually provide better heat exchange efficiency.

5. Temperature control. The temperature of the hot air needs to be accurately controlled to avoid overheating or insufficient drying of the sand, which may require temperature sensors and automatic adjustment systems.

6. Lifting plate and breaking device. The design of lifting plates and other dispersing devices can enhance the contact between sand and hot air and improve drying efficiency.

7. Heat resistance and corrosion resistance. The materials of the heat exchanger need to be able to withstand high temperatures and possible corrosion. Common materials include stainless steel, heat-resistant alloys, etc.
