Slag dryers are primarily used for drying tailings slag. They are simple in structure, convenient in use, and currently one of the more cost-effective dryers available. For tailings dryers, the level of wear and tear is crucial. So, why does the wear and tear on a tailings slag dryer increase during operation, and how can this problem be addressed?

Slag itself is highly viscous. During the drying process, the wet slag is conveyed to the feed hopper by a roller conveyor belt. The feed hopper is directly connected to the drying drum, and the wet slag enters the drying drum, coming into contact with the hot airflow inside, thus completing the process.

Generally, such equipment is relatively large, and the drum can handle a significant amount of tailings to ensure large-scale processing. However, this does not mean that you can fill and dry it arbitrarily; there are certain limits. Be careful not to exceed its capacity, otherwise, it will seriously damage the slag dryer.

In normal use, we must also pay attention to the wear and tear of parts. Even a small gear can seriously affect the normal operation of the equipment.
